اک جام🕯️⌚

 They're two types of man, both have peculiar interest . One we called them aristocrats or the other one is democrats. Aristocrats study at great length about governance or have straight forward peculiar views on the other hand democrats merely concern about people's opinions that are shaped by maximum voices . Perhaps there are other men who have eloquence to handle both at the same time without adding his opinion for the preeminent house ... 

آج مانا کہ وہ بھی تھے، پیاسے 

اُسی اک جام کے :

جو ہر اک روز ہم بھی پیا کرتے تھے ؟ 

حیأ و نور وہی جوں کے توں بر قرار تھا ؟ 

آج بھی ، چہرے پر انکے :

پر ہوا کچھ بدلی سی تھی، لگے ایسا کچھ:

اپنے انداز میں، ہم زباں بن کر بیٹھے ؟ 

مانو کچھ سوال تھے ؟ میرے بارے میں

پر دل کے افسانے، آنکھوں میں سجا کے بیٹھے: 

اس پہلے کچھ بات ہوتی، اپنا کجل ہی، مٹا بیٹھے؛

مسکراٹ ایسی آئی ، جو پہلے کبھی دیکھی نہ تھی: 

بے اصطرابی میں خود ہی ، میرے نام لے کر،

 کچھ اور وعدے ، کر بیٹھے؛
