 چا ند اترا اک صبح، اٹکھیلیاں کرتا باغوں میں

 بے باق ہو کہ ، کہتا زمین و آسماں اب ہےمیرا: 

میں چاہے جہاں بھی راہوں : اَدھر یا اُدھر

شرارت آئی مجھ کو بھی، چاند کی بات سن کر

تو نور کہاں جلوہ فروز ہوگا ، تمارا رات میں:

چاند تو ہوگیا نہیں، تو عید کیسے آۓ گئی؟
