کوئی یاد کرۓ کیونکر، جب تک
با واسطہ ہو، لب تیرے !
بیمار کو ہو انتظار مسیحا ، جب تک
قرار نہ آۓ، تو پھر دوا کرۓ کیوں؟
مسکان جو سجی ہے ، چہرے پہ
ہیں بہار کے سب رنگ !
مہک گلاب جو پھیلی ہے، کئی روز
یہ التجأ، بہار کی ہے یا آمید گرمی کا پیش خیمہ کوئی!
