 تعجب ہے کہ اک ، چہرا دیکھا چاند سا

کبھی دیکھا ، کبھی نہ ! یاد نہیں کہاں دیکھا؟

شائد کسی خواب میں میسر تھا مجھ کو

 یا کسی افسانے میں! کیا جرم

 کیا میں نے ،دل لگا لیا کسی دن ، اس چہرے سے!

اب دل کو ناگوار لگاتا ہے ، بھول جانا اُس چہرے کو
